Jute Rug With Brown Cotton Border

Jute is one of the strongest natural fibres known to man. Before the invention of steel cable, jute rope was the preferred rope material on clipper ships. Our braided jute rugs are naturally fire retardant; they can be used safely around fireplaces and in kitchens. Jute is also naturally moth proof. Jute is grown from the earth like flax. It is biodegradable, making it eco-friendly and green.
